About me
For many years I could not function at work without having my standard office drink - two spoons of Nescafe Gold Blend and two spoons of sugar, black. As I write this in 2017 I could not imagine drinking this now as my tastes have changed so much, but the need for caffeine is still the same.
Moving from the bland soulless streets of Milton Keynes to the vibrant Ancoats on the edge of Manchester's Northern Quarter opens your eyes to new experiences from music, to food, to beer to in my case coffee. Growing up in Milton Keynes, you think that coffee means Starbucks in the same way you think pizza means Dominos and ice cream means Ben and Jerry.
In June 2015 I took a new job working for a coffee company after many years working in the vending industry. It was different to what I had been used to in many ways, but there was and is a familiarity to the business which helped me settle here. Within a few months, I had dropped myself fully into the industry and was really enjoying gaining knowledge about coffee and coffee machines.
My role is to advise the customer on the right coffee machine for them coupled with the right package for getting them set up. Through this blog I want to try and help potential coffee machine buyers understand the pro's and con's of both Traditional and Bean to Cup machines, what to look out for when purchasing and I will look at in depth some of my favourite machines on the market.
If you would want to speak to me more about machines, packages or coffee then you can email me here or get in contact with me via Twitter: @87liamwright
